-Heated bathroom floors & towel racks: there is a small on/off slide at the bottom of the thermostat in each bathroom for the floors. For the towel racks there are on/off switches located on the top rung in the master bath and on the box at the bottom of second master, simply push to turn on.

The master bathroom taps are a bit tricky: pull both taps toward you and then turn :)

-Fireplace remote is on mantel.

-Third bed: the sofa in the living room is a fold-out, blow-up bed. Linens and pump are in the ottoman, and pillows in the pantry.

-Septic system: Very important - Absolutely no diapers, condoms, wipes, feminine hygiene products or paper towels are allowed in drains or toilets - Only human waste and toilet paper.

-Stove is a hybrid: electric on the left and induction on the right. Place pan on the induction burner - the burner itself does not heat up. Please use only the induction cookware provided.

-Dishwasher: please thoroughly rinse the dishes before putting in the dishwasher.

-Supplies are provided for your visit, but if you should use all that is provided, please run to the store and purchase whatever else you need.

-TV/DVD: The remotes are located on the mantel. To watch TV turn on the red button on the LG remote, then on Shaw remote there are 4 buttons in a row labeled DVD, Audio, TV & Cable.

Push Audio then small green power button, then Cable to get the guide to come up. Push everything slowly, giving time for TV to react.

-DVD/Blu-Ray: many are provided in the sideboard on the right of the fireplace for your viewing enjoyment. Go to the LG remote, push Settings, go to Input, using arrows select HDMI-2. Then go to the Samsung remote, push the left-hand red power button. Open the sideboard cabinet doors on the right of the fireplace. On the Samsung DVD/Blu-Ray player are 3 buttons. The left-hand button on the Blu-Ray Player opens the disc door but also the button directly below the red on button on the remote will open the disc door. To operate DVD one on, use the Samsung remote.

Movies on Demand has been disabled.

-If you want to watch a movie on your computer, please put the cables and all settings back to where you found them.

-No permission is given to download movies from any torrent or other illegal download sites for movies or TV shows. The Canadian copyright authorities have twice notified us of a $5000 fine for two of our guests doing this. They gave exact dates for these downloads, so we knew exactly who to go to

-Pets, if we have agreed that your pet is welcome, please keep pet on leash outside of house at all times. All pet waste must be picked up and disposed of in the garbage bins, not the toilets - No exceptions. Please do not feed the rabbits, they are cute, but not pets.

-Garbage: please make sure that garbage is separated and put in the proper bags: blue for recycling, compostable for food waste & garbage bags for garbage.

Please bring garbage, recycling and food waste to the garbage bins by the entrance gate. If you have returnables, please put neatly to the left of the bins; all proceeds go toward local animal shelters.

-Quiet hours 10:30 pm - 7:00 am. Please respect the neighbours and do not cut between the houses to get to the beach - use only the designated beach pathways located between houses 21 & 22.

-Clubhouse/Pool/Hot tubs: are open from June thru September. Please enter/exit the pool with the gates located along the pool deck, do not go through the clubhouse. Please observe all the posted rules.

-Beach: Please use the beach towels only.

-Parking: only in garage, driveway or visitor parking - Never on street in front of houses.

-Skateboards, longboards and drones are not permitted in the community.

-Fire Pit: Firewood is not typically provided by the strata corporation, if firewood is made available it for all residents/guests.

When fires are permitted by the Province of BC, the fire must be kept to the confines of the metal surrounded fire pit. Fires cannot be left unattended. Fires must be extinguished completely and ash cool to the touch.

Users must be aware that fire and smoke from the fire pit affect the air quality in some of the beach homes.

Clean up the area in and around the fire pit after use.

-Parking: in the driveway only. Please do not park on the roadway.
